KILWINNING SEGDOUNE CARVIVAL 2018
It was a fabulously sunny day today in Kilwinning for the 51st The Segdoune Carnival and Crowning Ceremony
Huge congratulations to Scott Shaw of Blacklands Primary School, the first Segdoune King for Kilwinning.
The Depute Segdoune King is Lewis Kirk of Whitehirst Park Primary School and the other members of the Royal Party are Olivia Davidson of St.Winnings Primary School, Grace Cassidy of St Luke's Primary School, Olivia Moffat of Pennyburn Primary School, Bryce Craig of Corsehill Primary School and Eva Carroll of Abbey Primary School.
The King was crowned by John and Mary Boyd in recognition of their 40 years of service to the children of Kilwinning, especially as officers of the Boys Brigade in Kilwinning.
This was a wonderful day, made possible due to the hard work of volunteers such as Joe Broussard and his wife Helen.
Thanks also to Promoting Kilwinning.
