PARLIAMENTARY PETITION AGAINST RBS CLOSURE IN SALTCOATS
This week I lodged my Parliamentary Petition with 564 signatures from local residents protesting against the RBS closure in Saltcoats.
These signatures were collected by myself and dedicated Saltcoats Scottish National Party (SNP) activists: Scott Murray, Alan Hynd, June Wallace, Michael McCulloch, Cllr Jean McClung and Cllr Davina McTiernan
The petition allowed local residents to have their say and urges the Treasury, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and the Royal Bank of Scotland to take into account the concerns of the petitioners and take whatever steps they can to halt the planned closure of Saltcoats RBS which is 73% owned by the taxpayer.
