AYRSHIRE GROWTH DEAL

At First Minister's Questions on 29th March 2018, Kenneth Gibson MSP raised the disappointing lack of concrete commitment to the Ayrshire Growth Deal demonstrated by the Prime Minister that morning.

he noted that all she has agreed after constant pressure from Economy Secretary Keith Brown MSP and Patricia Gibson MP is to open talks, with still no action, while other deals are forging ahead.

The First Minister agreed that the UK Tory Government has dragged its heels over the Ayrshire Growth Deal for too long and reminded everyone that "it is time for the Tories to put their money where their mouth is."
