SCAM AWARENESS MONTH

Citizen Advice annual Scams Awareness Month is underway to raise awareness of phone scamming across Scotland.

The theme this year is "Play your part, act on scams".

This campaign hopes to improve people’s ability to spot a scam, inform them how to report a scam and encourage the public to talk about scamming. Anyone can fall victim to a phone scam, and unfortunately those who are most vulnerable in society tend to do so most often.
