UN NUCLEAR BAN TREATY

Today I asked the Secretary of State for Defence why the UK boycotted these negotiations, how it would respond to the treaty and whether he understood the disappointment the UK Government's position on this was so disappointing, given that it claims to support multi-lateral disarmament.
