STATE PENSION AGE FOR WOMEN DEBATE
Today I spoke in yet another debate on the injustice of the Government's state pension equalisation for women born in the 1950s, costing these women up to tens of thousands of pounds and destroying retirement plans.
WASPI (Women Against State Pension Equalisation) women filled the area reserved for the viewing public, in the hope that their dignified, persistent and well organised campaign secures them justice. So far the Government has remained defiant and deaf to the calls for justice for these women. Therefore, the campaign for justice for WASPI women must continue.
