CAFE SOLACE LAUNCHES IN KILBIRNIE

I really enjoyed volunteering at the inaugural Cafe Solace in Kilbirnie in Bridgend Community Centre on Friday evening with newly re-elected Kilbirnie and Beith Councillor, Anthea Dickson. Cafe Solace already operates very successfully in both Irvine and Ardrossan and is run by dedicated volunteers in recovery, all with appropriate, training, experience and qualifications who are keen to support their community.

This community resource provides low cost, good quality food for all those in our communities as well as opportunities to meet others.

As well as helping to build your social network in a safe and welcoming place, it also is an ideal way of finding out important information about services and support, about what's going on in North Ayrshire and how you can become involved. Cafe Solace in Kibirnie will next be open on 19th May from 5:30-7:30 in Bridgend Community Centre and the official launch will be in June.

Why not come along? Cafe Solace is YOUR cafe!
