Independent Consultants Agree Ardrossan to Brodick Ferry Route is Best
INDEPENDENT CONSULTANTS AGREE ARDROSSAN TO BRODICK FERRY ROUTE IS BEST
The independent report on the Ardrossan to Brodick ferry route was published today after the study of a broad range of factors including the impact on users in terms of travel time, fares, connectivity, as well as reliability and costs to the public purse.
The report confirms that the mainland ferry port should remain at Ardrossan.
This report has now been shared with all relevant parties who have 14 days to respond.
I am confident that common sense will prevail and that the Transport Minister will soon announce that the ferry route will indeed remain Ardrossan to Brodick.
