I was delighted to address the Ayrshire WASPI women at their monthly meeting in Kilmarnock on 14 January.
These women have been fighting a dignified, organised and effective campaign for their pension contracts to be honoured by the UK Government which has already admitted that it has not given women born in the 1950s sufficient notice of pension equalisation.
I have spoken on all 5 debates on this issue in Westminster in the 18 months or so since I was elected. The UK Government is utterly intransigent but the WASPI women are not going away.
The campaign continues with the full backing of the SNP.
