It was a pleasure to support the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust when it visited Westminster this week.
The Trust supports, empowers and inspires young people in recovery from cancer through sailing.
Only after treatment ends can a young person start rebuilding his/her life following the devastation of cancer. The Ellen MacArthur trust provides a bridge between treatment and a young person seizing the future he/she never imagined possible.
The Trust will be sailing around the entire UK this summer and 100 young people who have all sailed with the Trust in recovery from cancer will be involved in this 2,000 mile sailing relay challenge from May to September.
The relay starts from Largs on 20 May and will end in Largs the following September.
