Arran's MP, Patricia Gibson, spent a day in Arran High School last Friday speaking to pupils from S1 to S5/6 about Westminster and how it works.
Commenting, Patricia said:
"Young people in Arran High School have a keen interest in politics and the world in which they live, and this is an important element of Curriculum for Excellence and citizenship education.
"I was very pleased to be able to spend a day speaking to pupils of all year groups and to give them the opportunity to raise issues that matter to them directly with me.
"It was very clear that the pupils are very engaged and well-informed about current affairs and I was made most welcome by both staff and pupils.
