Blind Children UK

I was very pleased to recently show my support for Blind Children UK, which helps children and young people with sight loss to reach their true potential. This charity offers emotional and practical support for families as well as advice and information, giving independent advice on benefits or helping parents and young people make contact with other agencies and groups. Also available is subsidised opportunities for families to attend activities and trips to the theatre, zoo and much more. Large print books are also available for children with visual impairment, with the latest fiction and factual bestsellers available as well as educational textbooks, tailor-made to make the joy of reading accessible to as many young people as possible.
