World Down's Syndrome Day

On Monday 21st March, Patricia attended the Down's Syndrome Scotland, Ayrshire Branch, 25th anniversary dinner, to mark World Down's Syndrome Day. Down's Syndrome Day is heralded by charities and organisations across the world, including Down Syndrome International, who encourage people to choose their own activities and events to help raise awareness of what Down's Syndrome is, what it means to have Down's Syndrome, and how people who have the condition play a vital role in our lives.

Commenting, Patricia said "I was honoured to meet Stuart Campbell and his parents who work so tirelessly to champion the rights of those with Down's Syndrome and raise awareness of this issue".
